Overview
Lemosho is one of the least crowded routes on Mt Kilimanjaro. The route approaches from the west side of the Mount Kilimanjaro leading on a narrow wilderness trail passing through a remote rainforest with wildlife. Unlike the popular Machame route, which simply intersects the Shira Plateau, the Lemosho route crosses the entirety of the plain from west to east in a pleasant, relatively flat hike. Lemosho has some of the most spectacular scenery the most recommended choice of all routes!!
