Overview

If you are looking for a less crowed trek, Rongai route could be the perfect choice for you as it is a quieter route than the Marangu and Machame route. It is approached from the Northern side of Mt Kilimanjaro and it descended on the southern side of the Mountain through the Marangu Route. The best characteristic of the Rongai route is, you get to see both sides of the Mountain. Rongai route is the longest but perhaps the least demanding of all the routes, hence providing an excellent chance of gaining the summit.
